This project is located along the coastline at the southwestern tip of the Macau Peninsula, specifically extending westward from the western end of the Ponte Governador Nobre de Carvalho (the old Macau-Taipa Bridge) to the historic landmark Harmony Gate. The project aims to create a multifunctional and vibrant waterfront area through systematic transformation.

This section of the coastline was originally primary and functional for traffic-oriented, with uneven quality of public spaces. It is planned to be systematically transformed into a continuous, comfortable, vibrant, and culturally distinctive waterfront public green corridor. The project plans to construct or widen existing roads to build a continuous, flat, and barrier-free waterfront promenade along the entire coastline, with dedicated jogging paths in some sections. Viewing platforms or leisure squares extending outwards from key scenic locations will be constructed to allow scenic viewing and various activities. The corridior will be appropriately furnished with sunshine shelters and rainproof seating, pavilions, etc.; nighttime lighting will be provided to ensure safety; and a clear signage system will be in place. The entire corridor will be barrier-free, facilitating the use by the elderly, children, and people with mobility impaired.

The project is expected to be completed in November 2026. This project will provide citizens with high-quality public open spaces, promote healthy living, strengthen community cohesion, and enhance the quality of life and the city's tourism appeal.
