The Macau Team Wins the Second Prize in the Bay Area Table Tennis Tournament.

The third Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau Greater Bay Area Table Tennis League, co-organized by the Cultural Communication Committee of the Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau Cooperation Promotion Association, United Time China Holdings Limited, and co-organized by the Guangdong Table Tennis Association, recently concluded.

The league's station matches were held from May 2021 to October 2022, with 22 stations set up in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau, and a total of 1,064 teams and nearly 3,800 people participated. The competition was divided into three groups: men's team, women's team, and mixed children's team. Forty-nine teams emerged from the station matches and the finals were held on October 16th at the Quan Hui Hang Sports Center in Nanhai, Foshan.

On the final day of the tournament, after a round of intense battles, the Shenzhen Wuchuan Chamber of Commerce team, Huizhou Table Tennis Association team, and Zhuhai Sports School team won the championship in the men's team, women's team, and mixed children's team categories, respectively. The Macau Hip Seng-Lai Si One team and the Nansha Table Tennis Association team won the second and third place in the men's team respectively; the Guangzhou Qingxinji Catering Development Co. Ltd. Jiale team and the Hong Kong Invincible team won the second and third place in the women's team respectively; and the Hong Kong Super Trio team and the Potou One team won the second and third place in the mixed children's team respectively.

The organizing committee also invited Olympic champion Liu Shiwen to lead the Guangdong women's team for a challenge match against the men's team champion, the Shenzhen Wuchuan Chamber of Commerce team, bringing high-level and high-viewing competitive matches to the on-site audience.
